Cognitive tests that are most appropriate for your testing protocol

Matching Pair (Working Memory & Visual Processing Speed Task)

This task concerns visually processing a set of tiles to find a matching pair. It challenges your visual processing speed and working memory as you continually update your working memory with new information during the task.

Odd One Out (Relational Reasoning Task)

This task assesses deductive reasoning, which is the core cognitive ability to apply rules to information in order to arrive at a logical conclusion.

Memory Matrix (Spatial Short-term Memory Task)

This task challenges a part of your short-term memory called spatial recall — a form of memory responsible for recording information about one's environment and spatial orientation.

Corsi Block-Tapping Task (Visuospatial Short-term Working Memory)

The Corsi block-tapping task is a widely-used test that assesses visuospatial short term working memory. It requires the subject to observe the sequence of blocks presented, and then repeat the sequence back in order. It is often used as part of test batteries in the diagnostics of several diseases such as the early detection of Alzheimer's disease, Korsakoff's syndrome, schizophrenia, etc

Memory List (Word Memorization Task)

This task is a memory exercise which concerns with what we hear or read long enough to use the information, either right then and there or by transferring it to long-term memory.

Quick Tap 2 (Inhibition Control Task)

Inhibitory control is broadly defined as the ability to suppress or revoke a thought, action, or feeling. This task measures an individual's ability to suppress a prepotent motor response.

Guess the Emotion (Social Cognitive Task)

Social cognition focuses on how people process, store, and apply information about other people and social situations. This task concerns the various psychological processes that enable individuals to take advantage of being part of a social group.

Memory Game (Working Memory Task)

This task measures visual working memory. Visual working memory allows us to hold a visual picture in our mind for a few seconds after it disappears from our sight.

Color Trick (Social Cognitive Task)

This task concerns with cognitive interference where a delay in the reaction time of a task occurs due to a mismatch in stimuli. It assess the processing speed, selective attention, automaticity, and response inhibition.

CopyKat (Working Memory Task)

This task measures working memory. Memory span is a significant factor in performance on intelligence and standardised tests, reading skills, problem solving, the ability to inhibit distracting information, and the quality of cognitive performance on other cognitive tasks.

Hand Swype (Cognitive Flexibility Task)

This task challenges your ability to switch between two cognitive processes: one interprets shape, the other — cognitive flexibility. Essentially, it tests your ability to revise your plans in the face of obstacles, setbacks, new information, or mistakes.

Quick Tap (Simple Reaction Task)

This task measures inhibition control. Inhibitory control is the ability to suppress the activation, processing, or expression of information that would otherwise interfere with the efficient attainment of a cognitive or behavioural goal.
NeuroUX team makes mobile assessment extremely easy. The team is highly responsive to feedback, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. I am currently conducting two NIMH funded studies that incorporate Ecological Momentary Assessment, and Derek and his team have made this not only possible but enjoyable! I highly recommend them!
